Warby Parker is expanding its retail footprint in Birmingham, AL! I was excited to learn that the retailer would occupy a space at the historic Pizitz building which has been restored as a downtown destination for living, eating (there's a food hall) and shopping. 

I was fortunate enough to have a sneak peak inside before doors officially opened on Saturday, April 8 2017. Warby's retail store takes design cues from the library - with suspended globe lighting, colorful book displays, brass detailing galore and their full collection of eyeglasses and sunglasses on walnut shelving.

To celebrate their new space in the Magic City, the company whipped up a pair of Birmingham-exclusive sunglasses, Madison, in English Oak with mirrored pacific blue lenses.
