Wall to Wall Travel Anxiety
I’m flying in four days and I feel a bit uneasy about it.
Preparing to face TSA agents who don’t know when their next paycheck is coming is making me feel guilty, entitled and helpless.
Case in point: I had to check myself earlier this week when I was thinking about the fact that I have to actually get to the airport on time just in case there are screening delays.
According to the latest reports, TSA workers calling out sick has climbed to a record 10 percent and airports in Miami and Houston have closed terminals.
800,000 federal employees are working without pay or on furlough because of Trump’s temper tantrum over a wall that won’t solve our border security issues. I’m almost afraid to ask what’s next.
