Traveling and Fitness - Can They Work Together?
As I get older, I'm starting to notice some of the drawbacks of staying in the air and on the go.
Seriously. It seems like I have been on a year-long journey to drop 10 pounds. I make great progress, then I travel and the progress disappears. The personal trainers and nutritionists that I follow for inspo say that its all about consistency. Consistently doing the rights things for your health more than you indulge.
I'm taking action on this advice. Here's my playbook:
- Clean eating 4 days a week
- Clean snacks all week!
- At least 10,000 steps a day
- 3 hour-long workouts a week
I'm two months into this playbook and I've been able to sustain progress even when traveling. One secret weapon is Liberté. Liberté is a versatile yogurt - perfect for a quick breakfast, clean snack and its even tasty enough to be dessert!
I get my Liberté at Publix when I do a grocery haul on the weekends and have fun weaving it into meal plans throughout the week.
Plus, each flavor, like the Ecuadorian Mango that I'm enjoying above, takes you on an adventure to where the organic ingredients are sourced from.
